Refund Policy Overview
We understand that life can change quickly. If, shortly after securing your puppy, you find that you’re unable to move forward with the adoption, we offer limited, conditional options to assist you—while always prioritizing the health and future of the puppy.
Please note: All sales are final after the puppy has been delivered or picked up, except under the specific conditions outlined below.
1. Cancellation Within 48 Hours of Deposit (Pre-Purchase)
- If you place a deposit to reserve a puppy but decide within 48 hours that you are unable to proceed, you may request a full deposit refund, minus a $200 administrative fee.
- This applies only to deposits made within the last two days and before selection of a specific puppy.
- After 48 hours, deposits are non-refundable but transferable to a future litter if space is available.
2. Return Within 72 Hours of Pickup or Delivery
If, within 72 hours of receiving your puppy, you find that you are unable to continue with ownership due to extenuating personal circumstances (e.g., sudden job loss, medical emergency, housing issues), we offer the following:
✅ Option 1: Full Refund (Less Shipping & Admin Fees)
- Available only if the puppy is returned in exactly the same condition as received:
- Healthy, well-fed, and free of injury or illness
- All original documents, microchip, and included items returned
- No signs of neglect, abuse, or improper care
- Refund includes purchase price, minus:
- Shipping/delivery fees (if applicable)
- $300 processing and rehoming fee
✅ Option 2: Exchange for a Future Puppy
- You may apply your full purchase price (minus shipping) as credit toward a puppy from a future litter.
- Must be used within 18 months and subject to availability.
- Ideal for families who still desire a Canecorso but need to delay ownership.
Conditions for Refund or Return
To qualify for any refund or exchange, the following strict conditions must be met:
🔹 Timeframe: Request must be made within 72 hours of puppy pickup or delivery.
🔹 Health & Condition: The puppy must be returned in excellent health, with no injuries, illnesses caused by neglect, or behavioral damage.
🔹 Documentation: All provided records (vaccination history, health certificate, microchip registration, care guide) must be returned.
🔹 No Breeding or Alteration: The puppy must not have been bred, spayed, neutered, or used in any competition without prior written consent.
🔹 Direct Return to NxElite: The puppy must be returned directly to our facility or an approved NxElite representative. We do not accept returns to third parties.
⚠️ The refund policy is void if:
- The puppy shows signs of abuse, injury, or malnutrition
- The 72-hour window has passed
- The puppy has been altered before 18 months
- The buyer attempts to rehome, sell, or surrender the puppy to a shelter or rescue without contacting NxElite first
Our Priority: The Puppy’s Well-Being
Above all, the safety and future of the Canecorso come first. We bred this puppy with care, and we will always take them back if a home no longer works—no questions asked—as long as it’s done responsibly and in a timely manner.
If you are unable to keep your Canecorso at any point in the future, we require that you contact NxElite first. We will always take the dog back into our care or help place them in a qualified home—because no NxElite puppy will ever be abandoned or left in a shelter.

If you need to proceed with a return or refund, please follow these steps:
